Student or parent
should ask the Chief Instructor
1. Can I see your professional indemnity
insurance?
(This should be displayed in the club)
2.
Can I see your certificates and proof of grades?
3. Do you have a coaching
qualification? What level?
( This should be a minimum
level 2)
4. Can I see your Criminal Record Bureau clearance?
( This should say Enhance Disclosure)
5. Is there some one with
a first aid qualification in the club whilst
training is in session?
6. Do all students have a licence book
with a record of their grades?
7. Are all students individually insured?
If
they don't have all of these look for a club that does
Instructors
You
should be able to provide all of the above, if you cannot, you are
risking being held personally liable for any accident that may occur. If
your association is not providing you with these or the means to get
these,look for another Association.
